About Us

Who We Are

Mission-Hope is a community-based

provider with a behavior management

component licensed by the Community

Care Licensing and vendored by the

Regional Center of the East Bay. We

believe that self-determination is

important to all people, we recognize

that the more self-determined the

individual, the more likely they will

succeed in life. Community resources in

our midst are also part of who we

are. We support opportunities for

community living by providing access in

the least restrictive environment,

encouraging the individual in exercising

their own choices and decision making,

which is important to their self-esteem

and self-worth.

Our Role

Like a walking cane, our role is to

provide the necessary support using

the least restrictive approach

allowing the individual to take

control of their lives and assume the

role of successful adults in our

society. We also provide services to

individuals that display behavioral

challenges and needing protective

supervision, following the guiding

principles of Non-violent Crisis

Intervention to ensure that the

individual receives the best possible

care, welfare, safety, and security.

Our Promise

To continuously provide quality service by promoting active involvement in making appropriate choices based on personal preference and interests of the individual, exercise self-advocacy in setting goals and solving problems that act as barriers to achieving their goals.
